Lead the Team
- Lead and develop a pod team of trainers and instructional designers; set expectations, coach for quality, and support growth through ongoing feedback and performance management.
- Own the pod operating rhythm (intake, prioritization, planning, stakeholder reviews, and retrospectives) to deliver on commitments and improve throughput.
- Translate business priorities into a learning roadmap across design, development, delivery, and measurement; balance quick wins with durable, scalable programs.
- Set standards for instructional design, facilitation, evaluation, and content governance to ensure consistency, accessibility, and reuse.
- Coordinate resourcing across the pod and manage vendor/contractor support as needed.
- Design learning journeys that accelerate readiness and time-to-productivity for the pod audience (new hires, tenured sellers, and/or people leaders) aligned to core GTM motions.
- Build and deliver high-impact programs that combine self-serve learning, practice, and applied coaching to drive in-role outcomes.
- Focus learning on early wins and sustained behavior change—not passive knowledge transfer.
- Leverage AI and enablement tools to deliver timely, role-relevant, and scalable learning experiences.
- Operationalize an enablement system with clear workflows, tracking, reinforcement, and stakeholder reporting.
- Increase accessibility and consistency by reducing reliance on live-only training through strong, self-serve enablement assets.
- Build and execute programs aligned to the pod’s charter (e.g., onboarding readiness, seller skill adoption, manager capability, or leadership effectiveness) and core GTM motions.
- Diagnose performance gaps using data and insights (readiness assessments, LMS analytics, pipeline and conversion metrics, win/loss inputs, manager feedback, and learner signals).
- Deploy training that improves real work outcomes (e.g., readiness, coaching quality, deal execution, and leadership behaviors)—not just theoretical knowledge.
- Create always-on learning programs (microlearning, certifications, reinforcement cadences).
- Embed training into daily workflows and sales tools to drive adoption.
- Ensure reps can access the right training at the right moment.
- Develop modular, reusable content that can be rapidly deployed across segments.
- Leverage automation and AI to streamline content creation and delivery.
- Reduce reliance on live training by building self-serve, on-demand experiences.
- Align with Sales Leadership and RevOps to prioritize highest-impact skill gaps.
- Partner with Product Marketing to ensure messaging and positioning are sharp and current.
- Collaborate with frontline managers to reinforce training through coaching and deal inspection.
- Align with senior sales leaders on capability gaps and leadership priorities.
- Support leaders in driving organizational change and adoption of key initiatives.
- Act as a thought partner on team performance and leadership effectiveness.
- Track impact on pipeline creation, stage conversion, and win rates.
- Continuously iterate programs based on performance data and field feedback.
- Eliminate low-impact training and double down on what drives results.
- Gather feedback from new hires and managers to continuously refine training content.
- Stay current with the needs of the GTM teams to continuously evolve the new hire experience.
- Understand blockers and adjust the new hire experience to overcome challenges.
- 5+ years of experience in enablement, learning & development, instructional design, training, sales, or leadership development (GTM/SaaS preferred).
- 3+ years of experience leading or mentoring others (direct people management preferred), including coaching trainers and/or instructional designers.
- Bachelor's degree required
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate across all levels in the organization
- Strong facilitation skills with the ability to engage and influence diverse audiences
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience building assessment and measurement strategies (knowledge checks, skill validations, certifications, observation rubrics) and connecting learning signals to business outcomes.
- Experience leading remote workforce preferred
- Experience in HCM or sales training preferred.
- Ability to sit for extended periods: The role requires sitting at a desk or workstation for long periods, typically 7-8 hours a day.
- Use of computer and phone systems: The employee must be able to operate a computer, use phone systems, and type. This includes using multiple software programs and inquiries simultaneously.
We embrace and encourage our employees’ differences in age, culture, ethnicity, family or marital status, gender identity or expression, language, national origin, physical and mental ability, political affiliation, race, religion or spiritual belief, sexual orientation, socio-economic status, veteran status, and other characteristics that make our employees unique.
