Position Overview

This role is technically oriented, including coordinating the publication of APIs & documentation/SDKs, guiding the application lifecycle flow of integrations, and marketplace extensibility. You will operate at the intersection of platform strategy, developer experience (DX), and partner ecosystem growth.

You will collaborate closely with Engineering, Design, Partner Teams, and GTM functions to create a best-in-class developer experience, ensuring a strong, secure foundation for managing access to external APIs and integration tooling, while reducing friction and accelerating the ability for partners and clients to build and launch integrations.

The ideal candidate brings deep technical fluency, strong product instincts, and a proven track record building and scaling API-first or platform products in B2B SaaS environments.

Experience building and owning platform products that serve multiple personas with varied levels of technical understanding (such as external developers, business stakeholders, and internal operational teams) is a strong plus.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the product vision and roadmap for the external developer portal, focusing on delivering a seamless and intuitive developer experience
  • Maintain a cohesive Developer Experience (DX) strategy across documentation, onboarding, sandbox environments, and integration workflows
  • Continuously identify and reduce friction in the integration application lifecycle to accelerate time-to-first-integration, long-term maintenance of those integrations, and successful partner launches
  • Own the coordination and publication of external APIs within the developer portal, ensuring consistency, discoverability, and usability
  • Partner with Engineering teams to ensure APIs are well-documented, versioned appropriately, and supported with clear integration guidance
  • Guide the complete end-to-end integration lifecycle experience, from onboarding and development to deprecation and offboarding
  • Ensure timely and well-orchestrated release communication, including documentation updates and developer enablement materials
  • Build business cases for product initiatives, ensuring alignment with customer needs and market trends.
  • Monitor product performance and adjust strategies based on feedback and market opportunities.
  • Oversee the product lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery of solutions and address roadblocks and risks.
  • Promote adoption of new technologies (AI, automation) to enhance product capabilities and customer value.
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to ensure alignment of product strategies with business goals and effective resolution of partner support issues.
  • Report on product progress and adjust strategies based on business trends and customer insights.
  • Promote a collaborative culture across teams, ensuring alignment on objectives and successful product delivery.
  • Support the professional development of PMs and cultivate data-driven decision-making

Education And Experience

  • BS degree or higher in related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in product management
  • Proven success in developing product vision and strategy, working backward from the customer.
  • Strong track record of guiding a product’s lifecycle through strategic thinking and creative problem-solving.
  • Proven experience as a technical Product Manager or Product Owner, with the ability to effectively partner with engineering teams and design for the unique needs and behaviors of developer personas.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to relate produce metrics to business outcomes.
  • Ability to successfully interface with stakeholders (technical and non-technical) at all levels, with exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience collaborating with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to ensure alignment on customer-focused product strategies.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Experience managing competing priorities and aligning multiple areas of the business around common goals.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and secure buy-in on product strategies.
  • Experience reporting progress in business reviews and surfacing necessary adjustments based on data insights.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, adaptability to change, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
  • A strong sense of curiosity, with a passion for innovation, continuous learning, and staying ahead of industry trends

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit for extended periods: The role requires sitting at a desk or workstation for long periods, typically 7-8 hours a day.
  • Use of computer and phone systems: The employee must be able to operate a computer, use phone systems, and type. This includes using multiple software programs and inquiries simultaneously.

This role can be performed from any office in the US. The pay range for this position is $130,100/yr - $185,800/yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for an annual restricted stock unit grant based on individual performance in addition to a full range of benefits outlined here.
