The Opportunity:
We are looking for a Marketing Associate (Brand & Product) to join our Growth team at Amae Health. This is an individual contributor role for a scrappy, creative builder who thrives at the intersection of brand marketing, content development , design, and execution. Reporting to the Director of Growth, you will have the opportunity to shape messaging across audiences — patients, families, providers, health systems, and payors, and bring Amae’s story to life.
From brand positioning and patient-facing campaigns to B2B sales enablement and referral collateral, you’ll execute brand strategy: developing the message, creating the design, and delivering polished materials that strengthen Amae’s presence in the market.
What You Will Work On:
- Brand & Messaging: Shape and refine messaging across all channels to clearly communicate Amae’s value, drive engagement, and support growth. Ensure consistent brand voice and visuals across web, print, and digital platforms.
- Creative Design & Production: Lead the creation of polished, on-brand marketing assets—sales decks, articles, case studies, social content, email templates, and more—to engage target audiences and maintain visual consistency.
- Patient Marketing: Develop patient-facing campaigns and materials that make Amae’s services approachable and trustworthy. Create ads, guides, referral resources, and educational content that clearly communicate our value, reduce barriers to care, and increase patient conversion and retention.
- B2B Enablement: Partner with the growth and community liaison teams to develop compelling collateral for payors, employers, health systems, and providers. Translate complex clinical and economic value into clear, visually engaging materials that strengthen partnerships and support contract discussions.
- Collaboration: Work cross-functionally to align messaging and design across all touch points, ensuring a unified and high quality brand experience for patients, providers, and partners.
- Iteration & Reporting: Monitor campaign performance and asset utilization across audiences, gather insights from both data and stakeholder feedback, and refine messaging, content, and design accordingly. Build a culture of learning by testing, iterating, and sharing what works.
- Startup Execution: Operate with a builder’s mindset, moving quickly from idea to launch, testing new approaches, and adapting as priorities shift. Balance creativity with executional rigor, thriving in the fast-paced, hands-on environment of a growth-stage healthcare startup.
About You:
You are equal parts creative problem solver and empathetic communicator. You thrive in environments where you can figure things out, take a concept from rough idea to polished design, and deliver high-quality marketing products that resonate across audiences. You have the ability to translate complex ideas into clear, compelling stories — whether in a website update, a referral handout, or a sales deck — and you care deeply about how those stories are received. You’re excited by the challenge of helping define how Amae’s brand is positioned across the ecosystem and can blend strategic messaging with hands-on execution.
What you’ll have:
- 3+ years of experience in marketing focused roles with experience in areas of content creation, brand marketing, product marketing or design-heavy projects.
- Proven ability to develop content and produce assets (Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Canva, or similar) across digital and print formats.
- A portfolio that shows your ability to craft clean, thoughtful design that supports storytelling.
- Comfort owning end-to-end execution, from identifying what resonates, to shaping messaging, to delivering the final product.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with an empathetic lens, you understand what different stakeholders need to hear and how to connect with them.
- Experience working on website content and digital presence, ensuring alignment of brand voice and visuals.
- Curiosity, adaptability, and a “builder’s mindset, you’re energized by startup pace and ambiguity.
- Healthcare or mental health experience is a plus, but not required.
This is a full-time on-site opportunity to be based in San Francisco, CA or New York City.
