Our mission is to make exceptional healthcare accessible anytime, anywhere, for everyone.

At Assort Health, we believe healthcare should feel effortless and connected — quick answers, clear communication, and seamless access to care. That’s why we’re building a new foundation for how patients and providers connect, driven by AI, built to embrace the complexities of healthcare, and tailored to each provider’s unique needs.

Assort is the most comprehensive patient experience platform powered by specialty-specific agentic AI. Assort’s omnichannel AI agents seamlessly integrate with EHR/PMS and complicated provider preferences to eliminate lengthy hold times and inefficiencies that stand in the way of patients getting the care they need.

Since launching in 2023, Assort has managed over 100M+ patient interactions, slashing average hold times from 11 minutes to 1 minute. Our platform now handles calls for thousands of providers with 98%+ resolution rates and 99% scheduling accuracy. Patient satisfaction averages 4.5/5 over 52K reviews, and we’ve achieved 20× revenue growth in 2025. We’re scaling rapidly and expanding adoption across the entire healthcare industry.

About the Role

We're looking for an Executive Assistant to partner directly with our Co-CEO, Jon, and serve as the operational backbone of how he spends time, communicates, and executes. This isn't a traditional EA role — it's a high-trust position at the center of a fast-moving startup where your work will have a real impact.

Success here means Jon can focus on the highest-leverage work without worrying about things slipping through the cracks. You'll own calendar, inbox, travel, meeting prep, and stakeholder coordination with precision, good judgment, and follow-through.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in dynamic, fast-paced environments — whether that's a high-growth startup, a VC firm, or supporting an executive with a busy, multi-stakeholder schedule. Career EAs and those interested in growing into a broader operations or Chief of Staff track are both welcome.

What Success Looks Like

Jon's working style strongly values:

  • Honesty and transparency — share what you observe, flag what could be better

  • Speed and follow-through with clear reasoning

  • Clear, concise written communication

  • Full ownership of commitments with proactive updates

  • Openness to direct feedback — in both directions

What You'll Do

Calendar & Scheduling

  • Own Jon's calendar end-to-end: scheduling, rescheduling, conflict resolution, and prep

  • Manage complex, multi-stakeholder scheduling across investors, board members, customers, and internal leadership

  • Proactively surface & resolve scheduling conflicts

  • Ensure every meeting has the right prep materials, agendas, and context attached

Inbox & Communication

  • Triage and manage Jon's Superhuman inbox while adhering to response time SLAs

  • Draft email responses and external communications on Jon's behalf, adhering to clear, professional, executive-level communication standards

  • Route inbound requests to the right people with appropriate context

Travel & Events

  • Coordinate end-to-end travel logistics: flights, hotels, car rentals, itineraries

  • Support event logistics for conferences, offsites, investor meetings, and board meetings

Operational Leverage

  • Drive execution on special projects with clear timelines and accountability

  • Maintain organized documentation and SOPs in Notion

  • Manage Jon's rhythm of business: weekly recurring meetings, monthly dinners, quarterly offsites, board cadence

  • Surface observations about how Jon's time is being spent versus stated priorities

What You'll Bring

Must haves:

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills — consistently accurate in scheduling, communications, logistics, and managing competing priorities

  • Proactive communicator — you notice issues early and bring them up with a proposed solution; written communication is concise, professional, and clear

  • AI-native mindset — you actively use AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, automation platforms) to work more efficiently. Bonus if you can share something you've built or automated

  • Proficiency with core tools (Google Calendar, Slack, Superhuman) and ability to learn new ones quickly — we run on Notion, Linear, and a range of AI-native workflows

  • On-site 5 days/week, generally 8 AM – 6 PM, with some flexibility needed for responsiveness 8 AM – 8 PM M-F and Sunday afternoons

Nice-to-haves:

  • Experience coordinating board meetings, investor relations, or external stakeholder scheduling

  • Familiarity with healthcare or health-tech

  • Experience building SOPs, playbooks, or operational documentation from scratch

May not be the right fit if

  • Your experience is primarily in office management, nonprofit, or large corporate environments without fast-paced executive support

  • You prefer analog systems (e.g., pen-and-paper) for task tracking

  • You'd need a long ramp-up period on modern productivity and AI tools
