What You´ll Do

  • Assemble and lead a production team of up to 50 employees.
  • Foster a collaborative and efficient work environment.
  • Provide mentorship and training to team members.
  • Manage resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, maximizing productivity.
  • Develop and implement lean and continuous improvement principles to enhance efficiency in production processes.
  • Manage day-to-day production operations to ensure timely and quality output.
  • Develop and monitor production schedules.
  • Oversee inventory levels to ensure the availability of necessary components without overstocking.
  • Implement and oversee quality control procedures.
  • Create detailed technological process maps.
  • Optimize production workflows to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, including military, security, environmental, and industry standards.
  • Implement and maintain safety protocols to protect employees and prevent accidents.
  • Plan and execute the production line setup within the stipulated time frame.
  • Coordinate with other departments (e.g., R&D, procurement) to ensure smooth operation.
  • Handle budget management and resource allocation.

What You´ll Need

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Management, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in production management, specifically in aeronautical assemblies, metal fabrication, or machinery manufacturing.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of successfully managing teams of up to 50 people.
  • In-depth knowledge of production processes, quality control, and safety standards.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in relevant software tools (e.g., CAD, ERP systems).
  • English and Spanish proficiency.
