Imagine this – you’re the link between engineering brilliance and operational precision. As our Warehouse and Logistics Officer in the Kinetics division, you’ll make sure every component and assembly flows seamlessly from design to production. Kinetics is where motion meets power, and your work keeps that motion efficient, traceable, and on time. In this role, you will coordinate and execute daily logistics operations for controlled and hazardous goods while ensuring full compliance with international safety, customs, and export control regulations. You’ll work closely with suppliers, carriers, engineering, and production teams to guarantee efficient, safe, and on-time movement of materials across our global network.

At Destinus, we are revolutionizing the defense industry with cutting-edge Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs). Our innovative technologies are designed to meet the unique demands of modern defense operations, delivering unparalleled speed, precision, and cost effectiveness. Destinus partners with government agencies and defense organizations worldwide to provide advanced solutions for mission-critical operations, enabling a new era of efficiency and technological superiority. Join us in shaping the future of defense with groundbreaking aerospace innovations.

What You’ll Do

  • Orchestrate end-to-end logistics across suppliers, carriers, and warehouses — preventing disruptions and optimizing lead times.
  • Execute import/export operations: plan bookings, track shipments, resolve exceptions, and ensure on-time delivery.
  • Prepare and control trade & transport documentation (EX-A, EUR.1, CMR, AWB, commercial invoices, HS codes, and country-specific forms) and maintain audit-ready records.
  • Classify products and maintain HS codes; coordinate with customs brokers to ensure correct declarations, duties, and taxes.
  • Manage permits and licenses: temporary imports/returns, export licenses for strategic/dual-use goods, and ADR compliance (including DG documentation).
  • Operate ERP/TMS systems daily (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics): create orders and shipments, maintain shipping profiles and master data, post goods movements, and reconcile inventory.
  • Report and analyze logistics performance in Excel and Word; share insights with stakeholders and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Purchasing, Engineering, and Production to secure material availability, align priorities, and remove bottlenecks.
  • Negotiate with suppliers and forwarders to optimize lead times, quality, and costs.
  • Support production teams by delivering components, tools, and consumables on time and in the correct condition.
  • Work closely with engineering and quality teams to align logistics operations with technical requirements and production schedules.
  • Oversee storage, packaging, and handling of precision assemblies according to safety, cleanliness, and environmental standards.
  • Manage incoming inspections, verify supplier documentation, and coordinate with procurement for any discrepancies.
  • Drive continuous improvement: map processes, reduce errors and lead times, and implement best practices and system enhancements (ERP/WMS and scanner/RF workflows).
  • Support audits and inspections (customer or government) by providing timely documentation and implementing corrective actions.
  • Flex with changing priorities, acting as point person for urgent shipments or after-hours escalations when required.

What You’ll Need

  • Several years of experience in logistics or supply chain operations, preferably in a controlled or hazardous goods environment.
  • Proven hands-on experience with Kinetics / energetic materials, explosives, or other Dangerous Goods (ADR, IATA-DGR, IMDG).
  • Strong understanding of international trade compliance, export/import regulations, and documentation requirements.
  • Experience with permits, export licenses, and ADR/DG documentation.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics preferred) and standard office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Dutch (spoken and written).
  • Flexible, reliable, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

4️⃣ Who You Are

You’re reliable, organized, and thrive in a fast-paced technical environment. You take pride in keeping things running smoothly, and you know that precision on the ground keeps innovation in the air.
