What You´ll Need

  • Regular bookkeeping and preparation of monthly financial statements
  • Prepare and file Spanish tax declarations for Model 111 (withholdings on salaries and professional services) and Model 216 (non-resident income tax), ensuring full compliance with local tax regulations and deadlines.
  • Preparation of monthly bank reconciliations
  • Support in the preparation of consolidated financials in IFRS
  • Preparation and review of tax returns (mainly VAT and income tax) and support to other specialized tax areas
  • Preparation of Annual Accounts and Official Books
  • Support in external and internal audits
  • Preparation of various financial and tax reports for management
  • Assistance in developing high-level cost optimization within Production and Financial departments
  • Measure, interpret, and propose actions to engineering teams regarding production costs. Follow-up regularly (including producing cost evolution updates)
  • Ensure compliance with Company Guidance and Policies, internal and external regulations
  • Propose and design new local controls

What You´ll Do

    • Processing incoming and outgoing invoices and the associated bank transactions.
    • You will create reports for accounts payable and accounts receivable. You will also be the first point of contact for customers and suppliers.
    • Internally, you will be the first point of contact for project management and purchasing.
    • Processing intercompany transactions and the monthly reconciliation of these transactions.
    • Processing VAT returns on time.
    • Performing financial checks on ongoing projects.
    • Preparing and checking management reports (weekly and monthly).
    • Performing monthly closing activities on time so that MT reports and reports for internal and external stakeholders can be drawn up.
    • Performing activities for financial audits.
    • Other tasks that recur regularly to guarantee correct and timely reporting

What You´ll Need

  • University Degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or similar
  • Ideally 4 years of experience at Accounting & Tax firms or consulting companies
  • Excellent knowledge of Spanish GAAP & Tax compliance; knowledge about US GAAP/IFRS would be considered a plus
  • Excellent communication skills (written and spoken) in English and Spanish
  • Proficiency in MS Office package, along with experience of local accounting ERPs (e.g., MS Dynamics)
  • Knowledge of Finance-related software (Monday, Coupa, or similar)
  • Excellent organizational skills and adaptability to a high multitasking environment
  • Strong analytical skills - Understand what is going on in the business analyzing different data to take the right decision
  • Well-organized with attention to detail
  • Used to working in multinational environments
  • Flexibility to travel may be required
