About the role

As Defense Agent Coordinator you will own how Destinus selects, enables, governs, and scales its worldwide agent network, with a clear focus on military and defense markets. This role is central to how Destinus engages with Ministries of Defense, armed forces, and government stakeholders across regions. You will ensure our agents are not just commercially capable, but credible, trusted, and effective within complex military procurement environments. It is a hands-on role for someone who understands how defense decisions are made and how long-term military programs are shaped.

What You’ll Do

Sales Agent Network Development Defense Markets

  • Design and execute a structured approach to identify, assess, and onboard high-quality defense-focused sales agents with strong military, MoD, or government access in key regions.
  • Evaluate agents not only on commercial capability but on credibility within military and defense institutions, including understanding of procurement processes, operational needs, and command structures.
  • Build and maintain a scalable onboarding program that ensures agents are fully trained on Destinus’ defense products, operational use cases, and military value propositions.
  • Establish and maintain robust legal, commercial, and compliance frameworks aligned with defense industry regulations, export controls, and government contracting standards.

Agent Performance & Governance

  • Develop and manage a performance evaluation framework, including KPIs, reporting cycles, renewal criteria, and improvement plans.
  • Monitor agent engagement with MoDs, armed forces, and defense organizations, ensuring structured reporting, opportunity tracking, and disciplined follow-up.
  • Strengthen coordination between agents and internal Business Development teams, including joint customer activities and events.
  • Ensure agents operate in full alignment with Destinus’ ethical standards, compliance obligations, and defense-specific governance requirements.

Cross-Functional Coordination Defense Programs

  • Work closely with internal business development, product, legal, and compliance teams to ensure agents are equipped with accurate technical material, defense documentation, and program-specific messaging.
  • Act as a bridge between market-facing agents and internal teams, translating military customer needs, operational feedback, and procurement constraints into actionable insights.
  • Support strategic defense campaigns and long-term government engagement strategies across multiple regions.

What You’ll Need

  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience in defense, military, or B2G environments.
  • Strong understanding of the military and defense industry, including MoD structures, procurement processes, and armed forces operational needs.
  • Defense Business Development understanding or military experience is a must.
  • Direct experience working with Ministries of Defense, armed forces, or government defense agencies is essential.
  • A military background, former service, or extensive professional exposure to military organizations is a strong advantage.
  • Experience managing international sales agents or operating within agent-based sales models in defense or government markets is highly valued.
  • Willingness to travel, with emphasis on APAC and LATAM.
  • Self-driven, structured, and comfortable in a high-growth scale-up environment.
