As the Engineering Quality Manager, you will ensure that our engineering Organisation (including the Design Organization (DO)) maintains compliance with applicable standards and best practices (like EASA Part 21 Subpart J, EN9100, ..). You’ll lead the development and oversight of our quality system, manage design supplier qualification and monitoring, drive internal and external audits and continuous improvement across all design, qualification and certification activities.

What You´ll Do
- Be responsible for establishing, documenting, developing and managing the Quality System and for ensuring that it continues to comply with regulatory requirements and business needs.
- Support and guide our Engineering departments in the definition and implementation of efficient processes.
- Oversee design supplier qualification, categorization, and ongoing performance monitoring.
- Maintain and enhance the quality system, including document control, change management, and compliance monitoring
- Monitor compliance of internal processes with established industry standards and certification authority requirements (such as EN9100, EASA Part 21J and required military standards).
- Plan, conduct, and document internal and external audits in line with established processes.
- Track and follow up on audit findings and corrective actions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and external auditors (e.g., EASA, MoD), and cross-functional teams to ensure compliance and quality standards are met.
What You’ll Need
- 7+ years in military or civil aviation or aerospace quality and compliance, or other highly quality driven industries such as automotive, energy with hands-on experience in the aviation industry
- Experience with supplier quality management.
- Track record in leading quality investigations, undertaking root cause analysis, developing corrective action plans, and ensuring the effectiveness of actions undertaken.
- Audit training/certification or experience setting up ISO 9001, AS9100, AQAP2110 quality systems required.
- Familiarity with EASA Part 21 Subpart J and industry certification standards (e.g., DO-178C, DO-254, STANAGs).
- Strong communication, analytical, and cross-functional collaboration skills
