What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using historical data, market trends, and statistical methods.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and supply chain teams to align forecasts with business goals.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure optimal stock availability to meet customer demand.
- Identify and resolve any discrepancies between supply and demand.
- Prepare and present forecast and inventory metrics to management.
- Continuously improve forecasting techniques, methods, and approaches.
- Utilize demand planning software and tools to enhance forecast accuracy.
- Conduct market analysis to understand demand drivers and assess forecast results.
- Categorize components on lead time and determine safety stock levels.
What You'll Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Statistics, or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as CPIM or CSCP from APICS are highly regarded.
- Proven experience with demand planning software and statistical analysis.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage complexities in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing demands.
- English & Dutch will be your working language. Other languages will be highly valuated.
