About the role

Imagine this; you're a student stepping into a world where aerospace isn’t just evolving, it’s being reinvented. Destinus is opening its doors during the TU Delft career event to meet bold, curious future engineers who want more than just a job. You want impact. You want speed. You want to help shape the future of autonomous flight systems.

TU Delft has trained you to think boldly, reason analytically, and engineer with purpose. At Destinus, that knowledge comes to life. In systems running in the loop, prototypes under stress, algorithms evolving in real time, and hardware tested in real-world conditions. Here, your academic foundation turns into real engineering momentum.

At Destinus, we are developing the next generation of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) for defense applications. Our technologies are designed to meet the demands of modern defense operations, with a strong focus on speed, precision, and efficiency. Together with government agencies and defense partners, we develop advanced solutions for mission-critical operations.

What you’ll get the chance to do

  • Apply your TU Delft engineering training directly to real aerospace challenges.
  • Move quickly from modelling to testing in a fast-paced engineering environment.
  • Contribute to UAV systems, including autonomy, guidance, control, propulsion, and mechanical performance.
  • Work with simulations, robotics principles, or embedded systems and see them come alive in real hardware.
  • Collaborate with experienced engineers who value your analytical thinking and fresh perspective.
  • Bring your academic projects, personal builds, or research background into real missions and prototypes.

You’ll shine if you

  • Are a TU Delft student, preferably in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, or related technical fields
  • Have strong fundamentals in modelling, system design, programming, control systems, simulation, or mechanical design
  • Enjoy connecting theory with hands-on experimentation
  • Feel comfortable taking initiative, proposing ideas, and iterating quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • Are proficient in English

Who You Are

Whether you’re looking for your first internship, graduation project, or your first step into the aerospace industry, you’re eager to make an impact. You want to apply your TU Delft engineering training to real missions, real tests, and real engineering challenges. You enjoy diving into complex problems, building solutions that matter, and collaborating with people who move fast and think boldly.
