Our innovative technologies are designed to meet the unique demands of modern defense operations, delivering unparalleled speed, precision, and cost effectiveness. Destinus partners with government agencies and defense organizations worldwide to provide advanced solutions for mission-critical operations, enabling a new era of efficiency and technological superiority. Join us in shaping the future of defense with groundbreaking aerospace innovations.
What You’ll Do
- Design, build, and maintain test rigs, test facilities, and custom fixtures for UAV systems and electronic assemblies.
- Develop and implement automation solutions for laboratory and production testing.
- Collaborate with R&D and Production to define test methodologies, system architectures, and test protocols.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for test setups, procedures, and validation results.
- Support debugging, troubleshooting, and verification of electronic, mechanical, and mechatronic systems.
- Rapidly prototype fixtures, enclosures, and tooling using CAD and 3D printing.
- Interface with sensors, actuators, DAQ systems, and laboratory instrumentation to acquire and analyze test data.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and test facility infrastructure.
What You’ll Need
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of robotics concepts, kinematics, and automation.
- Hands-on experience with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Fusion 360) and 3D printing for rapid prototyping.
- Proficiency in Python for automation and test scripting; knowledge of additional languages (C/C++, JavaScript) is a plus.
- Familiarity with electronic systems, including PCB testing, power supplies, sensors, and actuators.
- Experience with laboratory instrumentation (oscilloscopes, DAQ systems, signal generators, power supplies).
- Understanding of automation and control systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on, experimental mindset.
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams, bridging software, hardware, and mechanical development.
Who You Are
You thrive where ideas turn into reality and testing is the bridge between concept and flight. You’re hands-on, curious, and not afraid to get into the details, whether it’s wiring a test setup, debugging a system, or improving how things are validated.
You think like an engineer but act like a builder, always looking for smarter, faster, and more reliable ways to test and validate complex systems. Collaboration comes naturally to you, and you enjoy working side by side with R&D and production teams to make things work in the real world.
