Last Energy (LE) seeks a Senior Engineer - Electrical that will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and directing all activities, projects, and personnel within the Electrical Engineering disciplines for a power plant design. Understanding and implementing modularization techniques is a critical aspect of this role as is designing with the goal of mass manufacturing of power stations.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Oversee the electrical engineering functions for the design, budget and estimation for large scale industrial projects.
Lead efforts performed by group members to ensure successful completion of electrical engineering project deliverables to meet all technical, quality, financial and project controls expectations
Originate and manage client relationships, developing key relationships with decision makers and point of contacts within utilities, developers and EPCs.
Coordinate with civil, mechanical, and structural engineers throughout the development of industrial projects
Provide project construction support through RFIs and submittal review, contractor and owner request management, QA/QC of design work and more.
Oversee and manage electrical engineers through performance of electrical calculations, load flow, voltage drop and more.

Qualifications

BSEE from an accredited program
PE registration strongly preferred
10+ years of experience in the design of electrical engineering systems
Power Plant or Data Center Design experience
Experience in the selection of equipment, materials, and the preparation and assembling of engineering design change packages, calculations, and specifications
Effective written and verbal communication skills to convey information to project team members and client
