Last Energy (LE) seeks a Mechanical Engineer to perform Thermal-Hydraulic Design and Analysis of Thermal Systems and Components. This candidate will contribute to the development of a comprehensive Power Plant System.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Perform Thermal-Hydraulic analysis of internal turbulent flows at the component (equipment) and system (plant) levels
Model and simulate single and two-phase flows
Analyses may consist of closed-form/empirical solutions and Finite Volume Method (Computational Fluid Dynamics - CFD)
Develop system/component design requirements and acceptance criteria

Qualifications

Five years of experience with a bachelor's degree in mechanical or chemical engineering
Experience with computational simulation tools, such as ANSYS/CFX/Fluent, OpenFOAM, COMSOL, MATLAB, Simulink, Simscape, Modelica, Aspen, Python, or StarCCM
Recent Masters or PhD degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering is preferred
