Last Energy seeks an experienced Business Development Manager to lead our Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, developing, and executing PPA opportunities to drive business growth in Poland.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Identify and evaluate potential PPA opportunities that align with the client's energy objectives
  • Develop and implement strategies to secure new PPA contracts and expand the company's PPA pipeline
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze market trends, assess risk, and develop pricing models
  • Negotiate and execute PPA contracts with customers, including commercial and industrial energy consumers
  • Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, industry organizations, and the energy regulatory office
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends and regulations related to energy markets and PPAs
  • Analyze and report on PPA performance, including financial metrics and customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful implementation and management of PPA contracts
  • Represent the company at industry conferences and events to raise the profile of our PPA offerings

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in business, engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably in the energy industry with a focus on PPAs or B2B energy sales
  • Strong understanding of energy markets, including trends, pricing models, and regulatory frameworks
  • Experience negotiating and closing complex PPA deals with customers and stakeholders
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts to a variety of audiences
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding business development targets and KPIs
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate financial and technical data to make informed business decisions
  • Ability to travel as required
  • Entrepreneurial attitude and experience in a start-up environment preferred
