Last Energy (LE) seeks a Head of Global Licensing to spearhead our efforts in navigating complex licensing procedures. This candidate will use their experience in technical communication and strategy to help drive impactful change.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership in architecting technical communication deliverables tailored for stringent global licensing authorities.
  • Champion simplicity and clarity in all communication, focusing on quality over quantity and utilizing worst-case scenarios for robust arguments.
  • Lead and manage a cross-functional team of 5-10 experts, overseeing the efficient delivery of documentation on an expedited schedule.
  • Continuously advocate for clear and effective communication within internal teams, fostering a culture of simplicity and alignment.
  • Act as the main point of contact for external analysis resources, managing budget and schedules for independent 3rd party verification firms.
  • Incorporate cross-industry best practices into nuclear licensing strategy, leveraging innovation to drive successful outcomes.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of Probabilistic Risk Assessment to inform strategic decisions and risk management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven track record in technical communication, licensing strategy, or related roles.
  • Strong leadership and project management experience, successfully leading cross-functional teams to meet ambitious targets.
  • Familiarity with risk assessment methodologies and a fundamental understanding of Probabilistic Risk Assessment.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English; additional languages are advantageous.
  • Comfortable adapting communication style to diverse global audiences.
  • Prior experience in nuclear licensing, energy sector, or other highly regulated industries
