Goody is hiring a Senior Software Engineer, Growth who will be the engineer with the most direct impact on our growth, which is the key KPI of our business.

Fully remote (North and South America preferred)
Salary range: $150K – $200K + equity (US and Canada range)

Goody is a gifting company making it easy to send personal and corporate gifts. With more than two million gifts sent and customers including Google, Stripe, Meta, Anthropic, Notion, NBCUniversal, DHL, and others, we have found product–market fit and are looking to grow and scale. We’re looking for a motivated Senior Software Engineer to help us introduce a delightful, category-defining product to more people.

In this role, you will partner with our Growth team to accelerate acquisition, conversion, activation, and retention, running experiments that range from small tweaks with outsized impact to entirely new feature bets.

Responsibilities

You will work across our entire platform and stack, touching everything from marketing pages, to gift notification emails (a huge part of our business), to our core features. This is an excellent role for someone who thrives on impact, loves experimentation, and wants to shape how people discover and experience Goody.

Requirements

• You are highly motivated to be a driving force in the growth of Goody, by using code, AI, and creativity to help us share our product with more people.
• You’re a full-stack engineer adept in both frontend (React/TypeScript) and backend (Ruby on Rails preferred, or strong experience in Python/Node).
• You have at least four years of experience building production web applications.
• You have experience with growth engineering, experimentation, or working on user-facing funnels (acquisition, activation, retention).
• You’re comfortable with ambiguity and can drive projects from idea to shipped experiment to core feature.
• You bring great vibes and attitude that match our ethos of delivering delight to our senders and recipients.

Location

This is a fully remote opportunity. We prefer applicants in North and South America, with a further preference for areas where our current employees are: San Francisco Bay Area, New York, Los Angeles, Rio de Janeiro, and São Paulo.
