Salary Range: $60,000–$75,000 base + 10% uncapped commission (OTE $93K–$108K+)

About the Role
This is a street-level sales role for someone who’s excited about using new technology to creatively solve customer problems, with the room to grow and innovate as part of an early stage startup, and the potential to see immediate direct results from your effort via our uncapped commission structure. You'll walk blocks, talk to owners, and close deals, becoming part of the growth engine that brings Greeter into storefronts across the city. You’ll also work hand in hand with our Customer Success and Engineering teams to turn prospect feedback into new features; and be expected to use a variety of tools, including Claude Cowork and the latest Anthropic models, to build sales materials, run research and vet prospects, and contribute to our overall GTM strategy. The ideal candidate has two to three years experience and a proven track record in door to door sales, but we will train the right person. Expect startup hours and be comfortable with constant iteration, but the OTE numbers are reasonable and achievable (no BS here) and you’ll be trained by our top seller. This is a great opportunity for someone hungry, persistent, and looking to build a career in tech sales.

What You'll Do
Conduct outbound prospecting through in-person visits, cold calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach
Walk into local businesses, run demos, pitch owners, and drive same day contract signings where possible
Deliver a clear, compelling pitch that turns curiosity into a signed deal
Respond to and qualify inbound leads quickly and effectively
Research target accounts and identify decision-makers
Manage follow-ups and coordinate installs with the ops team
Maintain accurate records in CRM (contact info, notes, activity)
Hit daily and weekly activity metrics
Evaluate and help select new prospecting tools and processes
Capture customer feedback to sharpen the product and the pitch, work closely with Customer Success and Engineering
Contribute to GTM strategy
Follow up persistently—most deals don't happen on the first touch
Collaborate with sales and marketing to refine messaging and targeting

What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
2–3 years in sales, customer service, or a client-facing role. Preferred - field or door-to-door sales in the following industries: marketing or SMB focused technology such as telecom, payment terminals, signage, security systems, or similiar
High energy, competitive, and comfortable walking into any business cold
Basic tech literacy - able to run demos on mobile, tablet, or laptop, write coherent emails, build documents and slides in Google Workspace or Canva, edit and send templated contracts, screenshare on a video call without embarrassing yourself
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Highly organized and able to manage a high volume of activity
Track record of hitting goals in a metrics-driven environment
Familiarity with CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) and sales engagement tools
Familiarity with conducting AI driven research and using prospecting (Leadbeam, Apollo) and GTM (Clay) tools

Nice to Have
Tech early adopter, already have a full personal OS built on a mix subscription AI services with custom gems/projects/agents
Deep knowledge of local business ecosystem, especially hospitality, retail, and fitness industries
Familiar with Helpscout, Monday, JIRA, and other PM and cross team collaboration tools
Familiar with web and email analytics
Familiar with broader marketing and advertising best practices and tactics, able to discuss what big brands are doing today to reach consumers
