Sales Development Representative
This position can be based out of San Francisco or New York City.
We are looking for a Sales Development Representative to join our Sales team. In this position you will play an integral role in driving new business by qualifying inbound leads and helping to drive various other targeted prospecting campaigns.
We are looking for an energetic and hardworking individual who is excited to start or continue their career in software sales. As part of your role, you will work closely with the Account Executive team supporting a specific territory and vertical. To be successful in this role you should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, consider yourself to be a self-starter and curious about Fintech and payments.

WEEK BY WEEK
During your first week you will:
Onboard with our team
Develop an understanding of our customers and the problems we solve
Read our favorite industry primers
Review supporting collateral for use in our sales cycle
Develop an understanding of our brand positioning, sales process and customer engagement
Familiarize yourself with our infrastructure and tooling
During your first six weeks you will:
Join prospect and customer conversations to better understand our value proposition, buyer personas and product-market fit
Lead your first qualification calls
During your first six months you will:
Independently prioritize, manage and inbound opportunity pipeline
Communicate customer needs and requirements to our Product, Growth and Sales teams to inform our product roadmap and competitive positioning
What you should have
3 months to 1 year previous experience as a SDR, BDR or other customer service role
Ability to thrive in a fast paced, dynamic environment. We are a startup and need people who are okay doing things outside their traditional job description
Experience working with Salesforce.com or other CRM platforms
Superior verbal and written communication, presentation, time management and relationship management skills
Strong prospecting, qualifying, and sales presence
BA or BS required
