About Nothing
Nothing exists to make tech feel exciting again.
We’re building a different kind of technology company, one that puts design, emotion, and human creativity at the heart of everything we do. From the way our products look and feel to how we communicate and show up in culture, we believe technology should make you feel something.
Founded in London in 2020, we’ve grown from idea to global challenger in just a few years. Backed by GV (Google Ventures), EQT Ventures, and C Ventures, and investors like Tony Fadell (iPod), Casey Neistat, and Kevin Lin (Twitch), we’re now sold in 40+ markets with millions of users worldwide.
About the role
AI should run on the devices you carry, work across all of them, and actually get things done. That's a hard problem, and we're solving it from the operating system up.
The partners we choose will shape a large share of what we ship, so this role is as much product strategy as dealmaking. You'll decide who we build with, help set product direction around those choices, and see each partnership through until it's live on our devices.
You'll work directly with one of our co-founders and alongside a growing engineering team in San Francisco that turns the partnerships you win into product. Your remit covers the AI and technology ecosystem we build on: model providers, cloud and AI platforms, and agent and developer infrastructure. Hardware and silicon partnerships are in scope when they lead to something we can ship.
Why this role
The partners you bring in will define a large part of what our devices can do.
You'll work with our engineering team in San Francisco to build what you sign, together, so partnerships end up in users' hands, not in press releases.
You'll join at the early stage, shape the strategy and write the playbook for how Nothing works with the AI ecosystem. There's no book of accounts to inherit; you'll build it.
We care what you've shipped, not your years of experience.
What you'll do
Work out where an outside model, platform or tool would make our products materially better, and shape product direction around it with product and engineering
Build relationships with AI labs and the platforms around them, and open doors from cold where the right partner doesn't know us yet
Structure partnerships that work for both sides, including non-standard ones, and own the terms
Take each partnership from signed to live, working with our engineers through integration, pilot and launch, and be clear about whether it worked
Know when to walk away from a partnership, and build a repeatable way for us to choose and review them
What you'll bring
Must have
You've taken a partner from first conversation to a capability live in a product, owned it end to end, and can explain how it shaped the product. AI partnerships (models, agent or developer infrastructure, AI platforms) are strongly preferred; cloud, API, SDK or platform integration partnerships also count
You can go deep with engineers and product leads on integration paths and trade-offs, such as on-device versus cloud, latency, cost and what breaks
You've originated partnerships from cold, ideally where the brand didn't open the door for you
Strong plus
Existing relationships across AI labs and model providers
A product management or technology strategy background alongside partnerships
You know when to stop or reshape a deal, and can explain why
Partnership systems you built (qualification, pilots, reviews) that others still use
Device, silicon or on-device AI partnerships that led to a shipped or prototyped capability
Genuine affinity for Nothing's brand and design-led mission
How We Work
