Skillet is an AI-powered platform for roleplay, manager coaching, and call preparation built for life sciences commercial teams. We help teams practice the high-stakes conversations that matter most, from product launches and customer interactions to manager coaching and field readiness, because when it comes to practice, realism drives results.
Skillet operates under the Wayground brand with its own dedicated focus and mission. We are building a new way for life sciences organizations to prepare their teams for critical conversations by combining deep domain understanding, thoughtful curriculum design, and AI-powered simulations.
We are looking for a Curriculum Designer who can translate business goals, complex life sciences products, and real-world commercial scenarios into clear learning objectives and highly realistic practice experiences. You will work at the intersection of life sciences, learning design, and AI, shaping how commercial teams prepare for conversations that directly impact their effectiveness in the field.
What you'll do:
Translate business goals, performance needs, and commercial priorities into clear learning objectives and practice roleplay activities.
Design realistic AI-powered roleplay scenarios that help life sciences commercial teams practice high-stakes conversations.
Build end-to-end curricula for new product launches, new hire onboarding, field readiness, manager coaching, call preparation, and other capability-building programs.
Work closely with client’s subject-matter experts and business stakeholders to understand complex pharmaceutical, med-tech, and life sciences products and turn that knowledge into effective learning experiences.
Create realistic personas, conversation scenarios, learning pathways, assessments, and feedback frameworks that mirror real-world interactions.
Simplify complex scientific, medical, and technical concepts without compromising accuracy or relevance.
Use AI tools to accelerate curriculum development, content creation, research, personalization, and learning design workflows.
Continuously improve curricula and practice experiences based on learner feedback, customer needs, and performance outcomes.
Who you are:
You have 1-3 years of hands-on experience in curriculum design, instructional design, learning experience design, or training content development within pharma, med-tech, healthcare, or life sciences.
You have a strong ability to translate business goals and performance needs into clear learning objectives and effective curricula.
You have an educational background in B.Pharm, M.Pharm, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, or another relevant medical or biological discipline.
You can quickly understand complex scientific, medical, and technical products and translate them into clear and engaging learning experiences.
Experience designing training curricula for new product launches, new hire onboarding, sales enablement, field readiness, or product training is a strong plus.
Experience using AI tools for learning design, content creation, research, or workflow automation is a bonus.
You're naturally curious, adaptable, and excited by the opportunity to build from scratch in a fast-moving startup environment.
You have strong written communication, structured thinking, attention to detail, and stakeholder management skills.
We're looking for someone who enjoys getting deep into a product, understanding how people actually learn and practice, and building experiences that feel authentic to the conversations they face in the real world.
