Position OverviewWe are seeking a visionary and results-oriented People Sr. Manager (Mexico) to serve as a strategic partner to our leadership team. In this role, you will be the primary architect of our people strategy for the Mexican market, ensuring that our talent ecosystem supports our aggressive business goals. You will lead the "People" function with a heavy focus on evolving our corporate culture, maximizing organizational efficiency, and building a world-class talent pipeline.
As part of Rappi, you will be responsible for:
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Culture & Employee Experience
Cultural Stewardship: Define and embed the company’s values within the Mexican context, ensuring a high-performance culture that remains inclusive and locally relevant.
Engagement Strategy: Design and implement initiatives that drive employee engagement, retention in the competitive Mexican market.
Change Management: Lead large-scale organizational changes, ensuring smooth transitions and high levels of buy-in across all levels of the organization.
2. Talent Development & Leadership Pipeline
Succession Planning: Identify high-potential (HiPo) talent and develop robust succession plans for critical leadership roles.
Performance Coaching: Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, providing executive coaching to improve team dynamics and leadership effectiveness.
Learning & Growth: Collaborate with L&D teams to implement tailored development programs that address local skill gaps and future business needs.
3. Organizational Efficiency & Design
Org Design: Partner with business heads to optimize department structures, ensuring agility and clarity of roles.
Data-Driven HR: Leverage HR analytics and KPIs to identify trends, predict turnover, and provide actionable insights to the executive board.

Qualifications & Requirements
Experience: 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a Senior Management or Director-level role within a multinational or high-growth environment.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Psychology, or HR; Master’s/MBA or certifications (SHRM/HRCI) highly preferred.
Strategic Mindset: Proven ability to move beyond administrative HR and act as a true business partner who understands P&L and operational drivers.
Cultural Fluency: Deep knowledge of the Mexican labor market, including local regulations, union dynamics (if applicable), and cultural nuances.
Communication: Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is mandatory.
Leadership: Experience managing and mentoring a team of HR professionals.
