Within this mission, the Strategic Planning & Analysis (SP&A) team plays a critical role: guiding decision-making, aligning teams on strategic priorities, and helping the company achieve its goals with financial discipline and data-driven insights.
We are looking for a Monetization Lead to join the SP&A team and drive our monetization strategy forward. This person will take ownership of tracking, improving, and steering monetization performance across our product verticals. Your success will be defined by how well you understand the business model, how precisely you define actionable input metrics, and how relentlessly you guide the team to results.
As part of Rappi, you will be responsible for:

Develop a deep understanding of our business model and define clear, measurable input metrics that drive monetization outcomes.
Set quarterly and monthly monetization goals aligned with strategic company objectives.
Track performance and enforce accountability
Build weekly tracking systems and dashboards to monitor progress toward monetization goals.
Create visibility on gaps and steer action plans to course-correct.
Budget ownership and resource allocation
Approve and allocate spend across functions and verticals based on ROI, efficiency benchmarks, and forecasted outcomes.
Design investment frameworks that ensure we’re putting capital to its best use.
Drive insight and unlock growth
Identify levers of revenue growth and monetization efficiency through data and cross-functional collaboration.
Partner with product, marketing, and ops to design and execute initiatives that move the needle.

Become a Monetization Expert: You understand the drivers of monetization across markets, verticals, and product lines. You become the go-to person for monetization health.
Think Strategically, Act Operationally: You zoom out to define goals and frameworks, but you’re not afraid to get your hands dirty in the data to solve problems.
Elevate Financial Decision-Making: You make data-backed decisions the foundation of every investment, and you empower teams with the same mindset.
Influence without Authority: You lead cross-functional teams by clarity of thought, strength of arguments, and trust.
Requirements
3+ years of experience in strategic finance, consulting, investment banking, venture capital, or FP&A teams at tech companies.
Strong analytical and business judgment skills.
Proven ability to manage performance tracking, forecast models, and resource allocation frameworks.
Experience with SQL or data tools is a strong plus.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to turn insights into action.
Bilingual (English + Spanish) Portuguese a plus.
