Role Overview:
We are looking for a self-starter, SMB Account Executive to help bring Spruce to more healthcare practices across the country. You will own both inbound and outbound sales motions — converting high-intent leads from our organic and marketing channels, while also sourcing your own pipeline through proactive outreach.
This role demands a high-velocity, high-volume sales operator who can manage dozens of active opportunities at once, moving deals efficiently through 4–6 week sales cycles on average, in the $5K–$15K ACV range. If you excel in fast-paced sales environments, enjoy strategic prospecting, and love closing deals that drive meaningful impact, this role is for you.
What You’ll Do:
- Own the full sales cycle: Lead discovery, demos, negotiation, and close for SMB healthcare customers.
- Balance inbound and outbound: Qualify and close inbound leads while generating pipeline through targeted prospecting.
- Drive pipeline velocity: Manage a large volume of opportunities (within Salesforce and leveraging other tools) with discipline and precision across multiple channels.
- Tailor the pitch: Adapt messaging, discovery, and demo flow for different buyer personas. Uncover pain points and align Spruce’s value with customer needs.
- Collaborate cross-functionally: Partner with marketing, onboarding, customer success, and product teams to optimize lead quality, handoffs, and overall sales processes.
- Meet and exceed KPIs: Achieve activity, demo, and revenue targets through disciplined outreach.
Who You Are:
- Proven sales performer: 2–4 years in high-velocity SaaS sales experience, specifically within healthcare or healthtech.
- Strong track record: Consistently met or exceeded quota in SMB or mid-market sales ($5K–$15K ACV).
- Relentless prospector: Self-motivated and energized by identifying and developing new opportunities.
- Skilled communicator: Strong verbal and written skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences.
- Share and collaborate: Contribute to a team culture of openness — sharing learnings, refining messaging, and helping others succeed.
- Tech-savvy: Comfortable with Salesforce, Slack, Zoom, and sales engagement tools.
