Swarm Aero is redefining air power, building the largest swarming UAV and most versatile swarming aircraft network in the world. The company is moving quickly to launch the first aircraft designed specifically for swarming as well as the Command & Control software to mobilize swarms of thousands of heterogeneous autonomous assets and empower human operators to achieve superhuman results.

The team has created and exited multiple startups, negotiated defense deals worth billions of dollars and designed and built 30+ novel aircraft, with aerospace experience from Scaled Composites, Airbus, Archer Aviation, Blue Origin, and Boom Supersonic.

THE ROLE

We're looking for a Procurement Analyst to join our Supply Chain team in Oxnard. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role for someone early in their procurement career who wants to build real commodity expertise in a fast-moving aerospace and defense environment.

You'll own the day-to-day purchasing cycle across a broad mix of direct materials -- mechanical components, electronics, raw materials -- and select indirect spend. The long-term path for this role is commodity ownership: managing a defined spend category end-to-end, developing supplier strategies, and influencing make/buy decisions. If you want to grow from buyer to strategic sourcing professional, this is the right seat.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Execute purchase orders across direct and indirect categories, managing the full PO lifecycle from requisition through receipt and payment
  • Support sourcing events including RFQs, RFPs, and supplier selection for mechanical components, electronic hardware, raw materials, and services
  • Track and expedite open orders; proactively communicate with suppliers to resolve delivery, quality, or documentation issues before they become program problems
  • Maintain accurate procurement data in our ERP/MRP systems -- part records, lead times, supplier info, and pricing
  • Analyze spend data and supplier performance to identify cost savings, risk exposure, and consolidation opportunities
  • Build and maintain supplier relationships as a day-to-day point of contact, escalating when needed
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, and finance to understand demand signals and align purchasing with program timelines
  • Support contract review and terms negotiation under the guidance of senior supply chain leadership
  • Contribute to supply chain process improvements as we scale -- we're still building the function and your input matters

WHAT YOU BRING

Required

  • Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or a closely related operations role
  • Hands-on experience executing purchase orders and managing supplier communications
  • Comfort working with data -- Excel/Sheets proficiency at minimum; ERP or MRP exposure a strong plus
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a high volume of open orders and competing priorities
  • Clear, direct communicator -- internally and with external suppliers
  • Genuine curiosity about how things are made; you care about the product, not just the transaction

Nice to Have

  • Experience in aerospace, defense, hardware manufacturing, or other highly regulated or technical industries
  • Exposure to commodity management or category strategy work
  • Familiarity with ITAR-controlled goods or export compliance basics
  • Experience with sourcing tools, e-procurement platforms, or contract management systems
  • CPM, CPSM, or other supply chain certification (or actively pursuing)

Compensation Range:

  • $90,000-$110,000+ Equity
