About the Role Key Responsibilities
Tensec is looking for a Transaction Operations Associate to be the operational engine behind our partners' cross-border payment and FX transactions in Mexico. Where onboarding gets a partner ready to transact, this role makes sure they actually transact — smoothly, correctly, and on time — from the moment a payment is initiated through to settlement.
You'll be the go-to person our partners rely on to execute FX and cross-border transactions, understand the platform, and resolve issues fast. Day to day, you'll guide partners through live transactions, run training and enablement sessions, make sure every operation has the documentation and compliance information it needs, and work hand-in-hand with our Compliance, Product, and Treasury teams to keep volume moving.
This is a role for someone highly organized and client-confident who wants deep, hands-on exposure to how a cross-border payments and FX business runs at the transaction level — with direct impact on partner activation, transaction volume, and speed.
Key Responsibilities
Transaction Execution & FX Support
Guide partners through the end-to-end execution of cross-border and FX transactions, from initiation through settlement, ensuring each operation is completed accurately and on time.
Serve as the operational point of contact for partners during live transactions, answering questions on rates, corridors, timelines, and next steps.
Monitor in-flight transactions and proactively follow up with partners and internal teams to prevent delays and keep volume moving.
-
Maintain clear, up-to-date records of transaction status and coordinate with Treasury and Product teams to resolve operational blockers.
Partner Training & Enablement
Run recurring training and enablement sessions to help partners use the Tensec platform confidently and follow best practices for executing transactions.
Onboard partner teams onto transaction workflows and walk new users through their first operations until they're self-sufficient.
-
Create and maintain simple guides, walkthroughs, and reference materials that reduce partner questions and speed up activation.
Support & Issue Resolution
Act as the first line of support for partner questions, incidents, and transaction troubleshooting, resolving what you can and escalating what you can't without delay.
Identify and escalate transaction issues before they become partner-facing problems, coordinating across Compliance, Product, and local operations.
-
Track recurring issues and feed patterns back to the team to drive process and product improvements.
Compliance & Documentation Support
-
Ensure every transaction has the required documentation and information complete and accurate before it moves forward.
Reporting & Coordination
Prepare clear, well-organized status updates and summaries on transaction volume, issues, and partner activity for internal stakeholders.
Build simple presentations and reports to communicate transaction status, bottlenecks, or process updates.
Support the Commercial Lead with ad hoc reporting, data organization, and cross-functional coordination as priorities evolve.
