JD: Business Development Manager - TransFi Pay

We’re looking for a high-energy, customer-facing professional with strong business development experience in cross-border payments or trade finance (e.g. Wise, Remitly, Currency Cloud, Nium).
You should have a solid understanding of remittances, stablecoins, and digital assets, and a proven ability to build partnerships in the payments ecosystem.
This role is ideal for someone who can drive sales, grow our presence in stablecoin-based payments, and work at the intersection of traditional finance and crypto.
You’ll lead growth strategies, build key relationships, and thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment.

Job responsibilities: What you'll do

  • Work with the team to build and manage a pipeline of potential clients
  • Generate leads through online/offline channels and convert them into deals
  • Identify and close new clients in the payments and Web3 ecosystem
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Understand client needs and align TransFi’s offerings accordingly
  • Collaborate with internal teams to improve processes and drive growth
  • Stay updated on emerging Web3 projects and industry trends

Required Experience

  • Strong interest in cross-border payments, fintech, and Web3 (esp. stablecoins)
  • Basic knowledge or curiosity about crypto and blockchain
  • Excellent communication skills – written, verbal, and interpersonal
  • Eagerness to learn about customer interactions, user experience, and digital tools
  • Self-starter with a problem-solving mindset and can-do attitude
  • Well-organized, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Passionate about building new things and working cross-functionally with teams like product, sales, and marketing
