About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic and hardworking Executive Assistant to join our Sales Operations organization providing direct support for our VP of Sales Strategy and Operations. As an Executive Assistant, you will play a pivotal role not only in keeping the organization running smoothly and efficiently, but inspiring morale and team building. You will have the opportunity to partner directly with the leadership team to ensure that the day-to-day operations and schedules are accounted for and in motion. In addition, this person will lead the planning and coordinating of team events.
Please note that this role is on-site at HQ in San Mateo, CA, not remote or hybrid.
What You'll Do
- Manage calendars in a proactive and thoughtful manner for our VP.
- Execute on internal events in tandem with the VP and his leadership team (i.e. conferences, speaking engagements, team building).
- Own agenda for VP’s leadership meetings, weekly updates, all hands, etc.
- Be our VP’s eyes and ears on team morale and culture internally.
- Quarterback special projects associated with our executive and leadership team.
- Manage travel & expedite expense reports.
- Collaborate cohesively with other members of the administrative support team.

What You Bring
- High hustle and willingness to dive in.
- Bachelor’s Degree with strong academic achievement.
- 4-7 years of Executive Assistant experience to executive stakeholders within tech.
- Ability to manage multiple calendars in tandem. Preference for executive level coordinating and event planning experience.
- Attention to detail, coupled with creative problem solving and superior communication skills.
- Proactive mindset to handle regular activities without prompting, and advise in advance of potential issues.
- Track record of accomplishment in all previous roles.
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to navigate and flourish in a fast-paced, start-up environment.
- Proficient using Google G-Suite

Pay Disclosure

This estimate can vary based on the factors described above, so the actual starting base pay may be above or below this range. Base pay is also just one component of Verkada’s total rewards package. A Verkada employee may be eligible for additional forms of compensation, depending on their role, including sales incentives, discretionary bonuses, and/or equity in the company in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
