About the Role

Verkada is looking for a Partner Experience Specialist to join our newly formed Partner Experience Team. This role is a critical "first mile" of the Verkada reseller partner journey. Sitting within the Sales Strategy and Operations (SOPS) organization, this is a centralized team that evaluates Verkada’s reseller partner applications and delivers a quality and consistent onboarding experience for our partners in the Americas region.

As a Partner Experience Specialist, you will be the primary point of contact during a partner’s critical first 6-12 months, ensuring they are strategically aligned with Verkada’s sales motion and technically enabled to delight our customers. This role is built for a relationship-driven professional who excels at influence, data-backed decision-making, and high-impact communication.

What You'll Do

  • Be Verkada’s point of contact for prospective reseller partners
    • Respond to inquiries regarding becoming a Verkada partner
    • Hold regular batch info sessions
  • Identify best-fit partnership opportunities for Verkada through inbound applications
    • Qualify partner applications and validate responses
    • Evaluate and decide on partner applications, in collaboration with our sales and channel leaders
    • Complete partner documentation requirements
  • Develop and conduct foundational partner enablement sessions
    • Co-develop the curriculum to set-up new partners for success
    • Build assets to effectively enable our new partners
    • Conduct enablement sessions
  • Enforce partnership agreements
    • Keep partners accountable to their commitments to the partnership
    • Coach, unblock and support new partners
  • Address Partner Questions, especially for our long tail of partnerships

What You Bring

  • Relationship-Driven: You build trust quickly and can influence partner behavior without direct authority.
  • Engaging Communicator: You are a personable leader who excels at teaching processes and running high-energy training sessions.
  • Sales-Aligned: You understand the pressure and pace of a high-growth sales environment and can speak the language of our Channel Managers and Sales leaders.
  • Analytical Mindset: You are detail-oriented and can spot a high-quality partner versus a "resource drain" based on data and inbound profiles.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 1–3 years of experience preferred, either in Channel Enablement, Sales Ops, Customer Success, or a high-velocity Sales/Account Management role.
  • Proven ability to present to groups and lead training sessions (virtual or in-person).
  • Experience working with CRM workflows (preferably Salesforce)
  • You bring a strong sense of urgency to your work and take personal ownership of outcomes, consistently finding creative solutions in undefined territory.
  • Native or fluent in Spanish.
  • Must be willing and able to work onsite five days per week in San Mateo, CA.
